Managing Director

Dr. Jotta is passionate about empowering local communities and building industrial resilience in Dodoma and beyond.

Director of Operations & Technical Services

With over 10 years of experience in mechanical and civil engineering, Eng. Acran oversees plant operations, engineering maintenance, and technology implementation at DWASAL. He is responsible for ensuring production efficiency, safety compliance, and adoption of best practices in sand washing, brick making, and block production.

Director of Finance & Administration

Neema brings strong expertise in financial management, procurement, and business operations. She oversees budgeting, compliance, and financial reporting, and ensures the administrative systems at DWASAL support high performance and accountability. She also supports investment and expansion strategies.

Director of Commercial & Logistics

Moses manages DWASAL’s commercial strategies including market development, distribution, and client relationship management. He also supervises the transport and fleet operations to ensure reliable service delivery to construction sites and partners across the region.

Director of Environmental Sustainability & Innovation

Anna leads DWASAL’s environmental initiatives including water recycling, waste reuse, and compliance with NEMC and TBS standards. She is also tasked with exploring green innovations such as waste-to-block solutions and sludge reuse for eco-friendly brick manufacturing.

Director of Strategic Projects & Expansion

John coordinates DWASAL’s new ventures including sunflower oil refining and waste recycling. He liaises with public and private partners to expand DWASAL’s impact in agro-processing and circular economy initiatives.

Operational Manager

Maulid Kaparata Rashid is an experienced professional in washed sand production, mining, and construction materials supply, currently serving as the Operational Manager at Dodoma Washed Sand Ltd (DWASAL) in Dodoma, Tanzania. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Dar es Salaam and brings over a decade of hands-on experience in supplying high-quality materials such as washed sand, limestone, and aggregates for major infrastructure projects, including the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP), BESIX Ballast Nedam (BBN Limited), and China Harbour Engineering Company . He is also a licensed small-scale miner in Tanzania with strong expertise in mineral extraction, site supervision, logistics coordination, quality assurance, and compliance with environmental and safety standards. In his current role at DWASAL, Maulid oversees daily operations, production processes, material quality control, and client coordination, ensuring efficient and reliable supply of construction materials. He is highly regarded for his organizational skills, reliability, and ability to manage both technical and operational aspects of projects.
