What is Silica Sand?
Silica sand (SiO₂), also known as quartz sand, is a refined, high-purity sand used in various industrial processes. Unlike ordinary construction sand, silica sand has unique chemical and physical properties such as:
- High silica content (over 95% SiO₂)
- Consistent grain size and shape
- Low impurity levels
Applications of Silica Sand
DWASAL will process and supply industrial-grade silica sand for a variety of high-value sectors in Tanzania and across East Africa:
